Where can I collect the car?

Car collection is right in the heart of Sydney’s CBD.  We use Wilson Car park which has entrance at 383 Kent Street and 168 Sussex Street (opposite the Hyatt Regency). click here for map

We will also try to accommodate alternate collection/return locations.  Fees will apply.

What is the booking process?

When you are ready to book, contact our friendly staff at Fuga Veloce.  To hold your booking we ask for a 50% deposit.  On the day of your hire, we retrieve the remaining fees.

You can also book directly through our website at any time, day or night!  Follow the “Book Now” button on each page.  If you have any further questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us directly at escape@fugaveloce.com.au

What are general hire conditions?

    • Extra km’s can be purchased after travel for $1/km.
    • Bond of AU$7,000.
    • 10% loading of prices for public holidays.
    • All drivers must be over 30 years old.

Who pays for tolls?

The car is fitted with a Toll Pass.  $50 of tolls is included in the hire fee.

What credit cards do you take?

We take Visa, Mastercard and Amex.  No extra charges for any credit cards.

How do I pay the bond?

Bond is taken from a valid credit card.  We will take an authorisation for $7000, this will not be charged to your card unless something goes wrong while you’re driving.  The bond will be released back onto your credit card at your safe return.

If I drive myself in to collect the car, where can I leave my own car?

The beauty of having the exchange take place at Wilson Parking, you can leave your car there safely and securely while you’re making your escape.  Fees charged are at your own expense.

Will you collect me from my hotel?

With prior organisation, we are happy to make the exchange at your hotel as long as it is within the CBD.

Collection outside of CBD will incur extra charges.

What happens if the car breaks down?

There is an emergency breakdown kit in the car.  But also refer to T&C’s

What if I’m in an accident while driving the car?

You should immediately:

  • Make the vehicle secure;
  • Call us on 1300 Fuga Veloce straight away.  You must then fill in our accident report form (link will be texted to you upon contact).
  • Get the names and addresses of everyone involved, including witnesses; and
  • Inform the police straight away if anyone is injured or there is a disagreement over who is responsible.

What if I can’t drive a manual?

That is absolutely fine.  The Ferrari 360 spider we hire out is an automatic.  It has an F1 manual gearbox (aka flappy paddles), so you can also experience the thrill of gear shifting this amazing machine if you’re game.

How old do I have to be to drive the car?

We only hire the car out to over 30’s. Sorry, not negotiable.

Do I need to have an International Drivers Licence?

All drivers should hold a valid full driver’s licence (not provisional or learners). A current acceptable overseas, Australia or International licence is required from all intending drivers.

What happens if a storm is predicted?

In extreme weather conditions (e.g. hail) we may postpose the booking.    Please refer to our Refund Policy for further details.

I want to get this as a gift for someone?

What an amazingly, generous person you are!!  We have a gift certificate option available for people such as you.  Depending on how much you are willing to spend, we will guide you on which package is best.  Gift Certificates are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.

What is your cancellation policy?

For cancellation or amendment to booking, the following will take place.

  • 7+ days notice – NO Cancellation fee.
  • 24 hours to 7 days notice – the 50% deposit paid at the time of booking will be forfited.
  • Within 24 hours / No Show – Up to full cost of “agreed rental rate “.

No refund will be made on any part of a hire or package provided and not used; this includes late collection or early return of vehicle.

How do I drive a Ferrari in Sydney?

You don’t!  Tight roads. Traffic.  Speedbumps.  Did I mention traffic?!?  We recommend that once you collect the car, you point it in the direction of your journey and put the city lights behind you.

How many people can the car hold?

Two people.

How much luggage will the car hold?

While not spacious, the boot can easily hold 2 carry on cases. Soft-sided bags are preferred just to give you a bit of space for any souvenirs.

What extra charges will I incur on the day?

The extra, on the day charges include:
  • Excess mileage
  • Late collection/return of hire vehicle
  • Re-fueling of hire vehicle
  • Excess toll usage

Can we use the Ferrari in our wedding?

We would love to be involved in your special day.  Contact us to discuss your particular arrangements.

I want to use the Ferrari in my wedding plans. Can you provide a white ribbon on the front?

We do love a good wedding.  With some notice, we will be able to provide a ribbon for the front of the car.
